Leopard, Reimagined
Leopard print Max Mara coat styled with over-the knee boots and black Fendi handbag.
I’ve always said I’m not a leopard-print girl.
But sometimes a piece walks into your life that
quietly changes your mind.
This Max Mara coat did exactly that. The shape is
soft and slightly boxy, the print is rich but not loud,
and the texture feels like a warm hug on a cold winter day. It has that classic Max Mara feeling: a
little dramatic, but still very elegant.
To keep the look grounded, I paired it with one of
my favourite brands: Balmain. These jacquard leggings are such a beautiful piece – the pattern is
subtle and tonal, so you only notice it when you
come closer. Normally I stay away from print on print, but here the combination works because
everything stays in the same deep, chocolate-and-black colour story.
Over-the-knee boots add just enough height and
drama without taking over the whole look. They
make the outfit feel a bit “evening in the city”, while
the structured Fendi bag keeps it polished and practical.
Add a black hat and you’re ready for a winter weekend stroll or a quiet date night.
What I love most about this outfit is that it still feels
like me: soft, minimal and a little understated – just
with a playful twist. It’s proof that you can
experiment with print and still stay within a quiet-
luxury wardrobe.
How I’d style it:
– For daytime: a simple black cashmere knit under
the coat, hat, just hair down and natural make-up.
– For date night: hair in a low bun, statement
earrings, and a touch of soft brown eyeliner.
I’ve linked everything below, in case you’d love to explore the pieces yourself.
